The Val D’Orcia is now recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004. The Val D’Orcia is considered the most beautiful country territory in the world. Rolling hills with cypress trees, castles, abbeys, farms, medieval villages, and large cereal fields dominate the landscape which seems fairy-like and evocative.
