Entering Casa Electra, this charming holiday home in Sicily, means discovering a private oasis of nature, stone, and silence. The elegant renovation has given new life to an ancient Mediterranean dwelling on several levels, with 3 bedrooms, 3 en-suite bathrooms, a living room, and a kitchen with a rock wine cellar.
The elegant minimal atmospheres are enriched by decorated local stones, antique Sicilian bedspreads, and sculpture-washbasins designed specifically for this Sicilian Holiday Home. The three suites recall the three elements of Nature, which complement the Earth element of the garden.
The island kitchen, with its original stone arch, is a refined and functional space. From a suggestive iron and glass staircase, you go down to the ancient underground cistern, converted into a cellar. The garden and the terrace, overlooking the city’s Cathedral, are spaces for contemplative moments of absolute relaxation. Protected by high walls that guarantee privacy, you can relax in the stone Jacuzzi, book a massage under the tree, dine or read in the shade of citrus trees, in a dimension that blends the silence of the monasteries with the harmonies of the Arabs gardens.
