Overview

Casa del Bruno is an elegant luxury apartment for rent in Amalfi. It is located on the top floor of an old historic mansion dating back to the 15th century. The building (no elevator) is located in the historic center of Amalfi, just an 8-minute walk from the famous Piazza del Duomo

At the same distance, you can reach the seafront, where there are numerous bathing establishments equipped with umbrellas, sunbeds, bars and restaurants, the post office, and a little further on the Flavio Gioia square with the cab and bus station to reach, Salerno, Ravello, Positano or Sorrento and the offices for ferry and hydrofoil tickets to Positano, Capri, Sorrento, Ischia and Naples that leave from the port just to the side of the same square.

From the terraces of Casa del Bruno, you can admire the Bay of Amalfi.
A car is not necessary to stay at Casa del Bruno, but it can be possibly parked in the municipal parking lot from where in a few minutes you can reach two different elevator systems leading up or down the property. You can also opt for private parking with service to be reserved.

The kitchen is equipped with electric oven, extractor hood, 5-burner natural gas stove, automatic coffee and cappuccino machine, electric kettle, toaster, dispenser of purified still and sparkling water, dishwasher, set of dishes, refrigerator/freezer, microwave oven, double sink for washing dishes
Small interior tiled courtyard accessible from both the kitchen and the living room, via a small hallway where there is a small room with a safe.
The courtyard leads via a brick staircase to technical rooms, where there is also a laundry room with washing machine, and finally to the solarium where there is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water mixer.
All bathrooms are equipped with bidet, sink, toilet, shower, hair dryer phono and window.
The bedrooms are all equipped with double bed, SMART TV, closet, windows or balconies, chairs, and in two rooms desks with lamps.
Except for the bathrooms the house and terraces are equipped with BOSE sound system.
From the dining room, steps lead up to a wellness tub and the adjacent terrace where 4 loungers and 4 deck chairs with coffee tables are located.
The tub , whose depth does not exceed 1.60 mt. It is of the infinity type and is equipped with a whirlpool system.
The terraces, from which a wonderful panorama can be admired, outside are equipped with professional barbecue for use by guests.

ACCESS
The house is reached on foot from the main town square, walking through the narrow public walkway that includes approximately 100 stairway steps. The building has no elevator.

Distances

The major attractions , shops and restaurants of central Amalfi are within few minutes walk . Regular bus service operates from the nearby Flavio Gioia square to the other towns in the region. Ravello 5 Km, Scala 5 Km, Sorrento 35 Km, Salerno 27 Km, Positano 22 Km, Naples airport 60 Km, Rome Fiumicino 320Km From April untill end of October, ferries and hydrofoils ply daily from Amalfi to Capri (1½ h.), Positano (20 min.), Naples ( 2 h.) Sorrento ( 1 ½ h) Ischia (2½ h) and Salerno (1 h.)
